    DENNETT WINS BCRA L/S MAIN AT MARYSVILLE RACEWAY

    Marysville, CA.........Greg Dennett won the Bay Cities Racing Association Lightning Sprint 20 lap A-Main event held at Marysville Raceway Saturday night. Dennett, a former series champion ran a strong second when early leader Josef Ferolito broke a little over halfway through the main event distance. Dennett held off all challengers once the green flag came back out to go on to win at a track he has had much success at. Series point leader going into this race, Matt Land finished a strong second with Harlee Aguilera third. Tyler Gerdes raced fourth in an attrition filled race. Ferolito, Rick Holbrook, Defending series Champion Dakota Albright and Danielle Clauson-Sevo finished out the field in the pits with mechanical trouble. Brandon Leedy broke on lap 7 of the heat race ending his night.

    With nine cars in attendance two heats were run. Aguilera won the first one and Land the other. Brandon Leedy was the fastest qualifier with a 14.271 second lap around the well prepared quarter mile clay oval promoted by Dennis Gage. Next up for the BCRA Lightning Sprints is Saturday night June 4th at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, CA. in support of the Sprint Car Challenge Tour "Tyler Wolf Memorial" 360 Sprint Car race.
