I believe that Mother Nature is not a Race Fan. Everyone needs a break from all this lousy weather even if you are not a Race Fan. This is the first time in memory that we have lost this many race dates do to rainouts and just bad weather. My aching bones tell me that we are going to have some better weather soon and not soon enough. The first vintage scheduled date is still Twin Cities Speedway in Marysville on May 6th.
The "Good Guys Car Show" this last March 25 & 26 was a fantastic success. Sixteen BCRA vintage midgets made the show and everyone that brought his or her car played a big part in making the show a success. This type of event is very important to the over all success of BCRA. It was amazing how many people that came to the show were surprised that the Vintage Midgets still existed and that we have a set schedule of dates. The printed schedule that Floyd designed and printed was very well received and the fans were eager to get a copy.

# 14 Paul Farajian, # 36 Paul & June Ferreira, # 1 & # 2 Harry and Irene Craycraft, # 37 Harold Dickerson, # 17 George Shannion, # 47 Rosemarie & Pete Bray, and from Fresno Leroy & Julie Sabbatini. Leroy was awarded Best of Show Trophy.
This was the first time in several years that BCRA has been invited to this fantastic show. The vintage members would like to thank Paul Ferreira and Harry Craycroft for their help getting BCRA invited. From the response from the fans I think we will be invited again next year. The BCRA members would like to also thank Gary Meadors (Mr. Good Guy) and his whole staff for the invitation and the good time we had showing the cars.
I still have Vintage Calendars and T- Shirts and I now have the new Vintage UNIFORM PATCH and BCRA Mighty Midgets and BCRA Vintage License plate frames available. Any Vintage member that is not receiving the monthly news latter please let me know and I can send you the issue that you missed.
