February 2005

The season is finally here so I hope everyone is ready because I am not but I will be real soon. The revised Vintage rules will be posted on the web in a week or so. The only change is with the tire rule. The tire Footprint can be no wider that 8 inches on all Four Corners. The one rule that has been unwritten rule but is now written “NO BEAD LOCK RIMS” and the rim width is a max of 8 inches.

Play days are here for the month of February and March. I know the Chowchilla dates are 2/26 and 3/03 is $20.00 per car and runs from 11:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. Antioch is 3/5, 3/12, 3/19 from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. Petaluma dates are the same as Antioch but from 12:00 noon to 7:00 P.M. Twin Cities in Marysville is on 3/13 from 2:00 P.M. to 5P.M. All tracks are dirt and offer different times. I will check to see if Vintage is invited and what the cost per car will be.

The Vintage schedule is on the web site but there are some additional dates that are still being worked out. We are invited to Madera on August 20th with a sprint car group and we are invited to Santa Maria for the “Johnny Baldwin Memorial” maybe in October. This date is still being set.

Thanks to the BCRA Board and especially to Stu Donaldson for their help including the Vintage members in this years great schedule.

See all at Ron’s shop on the 19th of February at 10:00 A.M.

Pete
