BCRA/USAC MIDGET CHALLENGE RESUMES SATURDAY AT PETALUMA SPEEDWAY

Coming up this Saturday, October 24th, the “mighty midgets” of the Bay Cities Racing Association (BCRA) and the United States Auto Club (USAC) Western States series return at Petaluma Speedway for a special  event, the second and final round of the “West Coast Stock Car / Motorsports Hall of Fame Challenge.” The Petaluma Speedway event  also is the final event on the 2020 BCRA midget racing schedule.

Currently, 2015 BCRA champion Frankie Guerrini III leads the Challenge with 80 points with the October 17th feature winner Maria Cofer in second place with 79 markers. Scotty Farmer is third with Kyle Beilman in fourth and Brody Fuson fifth.

Tallied from the October 17th and 24th events at Petaluma, the Challenge will pay $1,000-to-win to the top point earner, $700 for 2nd place, $500 for 3rd place, $350 for 4thplace, and $250 for 5th place. Pit gates are scheduled to open at noon, with the pit meeting at 4 PM and practice at 5 PM. The grandstands remain closed due to County Health orders. Racers are reminded of the Petaluma Pit Tarp Rule.
