Austin Liggett wins at Antioch Speedway

Austin Liggett of Tracy California driving the #83 Excel Environmental Services Special won the September 26th feature at  the fast racy 3/8-mile Antioch Speedway oval with young Brody Fuson in second and Scotty Farmer third.  Corey Elliott finished fourth with Jake Andreotti in fifth place as Colton Raudman rounded out the top six feature finishers.

Hometown driver Shawn Arriaga finished seventh in the highest placed Western Midget Racing entry,  followed by Blake Bowers, Nick Foster Junior, with Shannon McQueen in tenth place. Tyler Slay finished eleventh, trailed by Floyd Alvis, Cameron Beard, Jarrett Soares, Kyle Bellman and Robert Carson in sixteenth place. Matt Streeter did not start the feature due to mechanical issues.

Brody Fuson and Jarrett Soares won the  8-lap preliminary heat races.  Ben Wiesz entered but suffered engine failure in hot laps.

Next up for the BCRA midgets on October 3rd is a busy two-program day,  The dirt midgets  will be part of the joint program   with the USAC Western States midgets at Petaluma Speedway for the opening round of the West Coast Stock Car Motorsports Hall of Fame Challenge, while the BCRA pavement midgets will be in action the same day at Shasta Speedway in Anderson California for their co-sanctioned program with the Washington Midget Racing Association.
