July 4, 2020 – Bay Cities Racing Association (BCRA) officials and Petaluma Speedway promoter Rick Faeth today confirmed that the co-sanctioned BCRA/USAC Western States midget racing program scheduled for July 18th is a “GO.” All participants will be required to sign the track’s COVID-19 waiver which is available here: http://www.petaluma-speedway.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/Release-and-Waiver-of-Liability-COVID-19.pdf
The pit gates will open Saturday, July 18 at 2:00 PM with practice at 5:00 PM and racing set to start at 6:00 PM. In addition to the BCRA/USAC midgets, the Western Midget Racing series , the 600’s and wingless sprint cars will be on the evening’s program.
Anonymous donors have offered $500 to the highest-finishing BCRA registered car in the evening’s feature race which will be in addition to the $600 to win and $100 to start the feature offered by USAC.
