Lakeport and Ukiah midget races cancelled

Regrettably, the Bay Cities Racing Association (BCRA) learned on June 10th that because Lake County and Mendocino County government health officers are still unable to provide the clearance for race tracks in their jurisdictions to host races with fans, the July 3rd race date for the midgets and vintage midgets at Lakeport Speedway and the July 4th race date  for the midgets and vintage midgets at Ukiah Speedway have been cancelled.

Coupled with the cancellation of the scheduled July 11th race at Placerville Speedway by our co-sanctioning partner, the United States Auto Club (USAC),  July 18th becomes the tentative start date of the 2020 BCRA midget season.

BCRA officials remain in constant contact with our racing partners and will continue to update the status of the two races scheduled for July 18th on the pavement at Douglas County Speedway co-sanctioned with the Washington Midget Racing Association (WMRA) and on the dirt at Petaluma Speedway co-sanctioned with USAC. We will post the latest information on this site as it becomes available
