July 18th date at Douglas County Raceway canceled

June 26, 2020 – Bay Cities Racing Association (BCRA) officials learned this morning that the scheduled July 18th asphalt midget race at Douglas County Speedway in Roseburg Oregon to be co-sanctioned with the Washington Midget Racing Association (WMRA) has been canceled.

In positive news, WMRA officials have confirmed that their planned midget race date for August 1st at Hermiston Raceway has been confirmed and extended their warm welcome to all BCRA racers to join them for the event on the paved banked 3/8-mile Hermiston oval.

The scheduled July 18th dirt race date co-sanctioned with the United States Auto Club (USAC) Western States midgets at Petaluma Speedway is still ‘GO’ at this time and will be the BCRA season opener. An anonymous donor has posted a $100 cash bonus to be paid to the top-finishing BCRA registered car and driver in the Petaluma July 18th feature.
