Presidents Corner

First of all I would like to wish a very speedy recovery to Howard West Sr., he is now home and getting stronger every day. Howard were all looking forward to seeing you back at the track very soon!!!!.
It was really nice to see Davey Jean Prickett at Madera on the 7th of June. Yes, nice to see her parents too and Dad back in a race car.
Our condolences to Norm Gray and family on the passing of his wife Carol, she will be very much missed but is no longer in pain. Also, condolences to Terry Tarditi on the recent passing of his mother Marylou.
I want to congratulate our recent winners in both divisions. The car counts have been on an upward swing which is wonderful. Teams keep up the good work!!!
I would also like to thank our new 2014 sponsor in the midget division – Jerry Crowell Shocks. Crowell Shocks sponsors the “Go Go Get’m” award which gives $100.00 to the car that has trouble at a race and may need a little financial assistance getting to the next race. Thank you Jerry, Vivian, Coco and John for your support. Also, thank you to our returning sponsors, Keizer Wheels which once again sponsors the hard charger award nightly for both the midget and midget lite divisions and the long tow award for the vintage division. Also, returning this year is MPD Racing in the midget division.
Make sure to mark your calendars to attend the Jack London Bash and Hall of Fame Induction Picnic on the 2nd of August at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds in Placerville. Look for more information soon.
Finally, our champion’s shirts should be ready for the next race in each division.
See you at the races
Rick
