Tom Palmer passed away Tuesday February 12, 2014 as a result of a stroke.  Tom was a long time member of Bay Cities Racing Association.  In his early years Tom designed and built 3 Midget chassis.  One of which he kept and campaigned the car with the following drivers: Terry Gaugh, Ronny Hulse and the first women driver in BCRA Pam Skyrme.  Tom was Business Manager of BCRA from the mid 1980’s to 1990, along with the business manager duties Tom was also the Midget Division Chief Steward until 1998 when both he and his wife Virginia retired from their duties with BCRA.

Tom is survived by his wife Virginia and 2 sons Mike and Christopher.

A Memorial Service is schedules for 12 noon on Saturday March 22, 2014 at the Palmer residence in Pleasant Hill.
